Representing Cambodia and EBTC @ Asian Grand Prix

Join us congratulating Ines on being selected as a finalist in the Asian Grand Prix ( to be held in Hong Kong from August 13- August 17, 2018. Over 400 dancers from all over South East Asia and beyond will be competing for scholarships to train at such world renown schools as Australian Ballet School, Canada's National Ballet School, English National Ballet School, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, New Zealand School of Dance and Queensland Ballet Academy.

Although Ines is based in France, it was absolutely imperative for her to be able to represent Cambodia in this competition. “Dancing is my passion, my first love! It is important for me to represent Cambodia at the AGP to honor my Father who is Cambodian. I am Cambodian too and I want to succeed for my country.”, says Ines.

Ines will be accompanied by English Ballet Theatre Cambodia’s ( Artistic Director Stephen Bimson. Ines has been traveling to Cambodia over the past 2 years specifically to train with Mr. Bimson. According to Mr. Bimson, “Ines is a young dancer on the cusp of her career. She has beautiful technique and artistry and is dedicate to her art in a way that is inspirational. It is now my hope for Ines to grow beyond the boundaries of her training to become a independent artist of her own mind.” Prior to arriving in Phnom Penh to train with Mr. Bimson, Ines attended the exclusive summer intensive at the Royal Ballet School in London.

Please join us in wishing Ines all the best in the upcoming competition!!
