Incoming Artistic Director
EBTC is please to introduce Dancer, Choreographer and Teacher Amanda Miller to the EBTC team.
Amanda comes to us with over 20 years experience as a dancer, choreographer and teacher. Amanda started ballet as a young child while her family was stationed in Guam. Since then she has danced and taught around the world including Cambodia. Amanda is a passionate teacher with a broad background in ballet and contemporary who believes strongly in creating an environment where dancers are active participants in their learning and that promotes independent thinking. This passion is directly inline with the EBTC philosophy of dance and creativity.
We truly are thrilled to welcome Amanda and to continue offering the best ballet and contemporary training in Cambodia as well as a safe and supportive environment in which all our dancers can pursue their passion for dance regardless of age or ability.

AT A GLANCE
Here at English Ballet Theatre Cambodia, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all through art and dance based interaction. We have been operating in the city of Phnom Penh in the Kingdom of Cambodia since 2012 and provide classical western ballet and contemporary dance training for children and adults and community dance for children in residential care.
One Step at a Time
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to provide the highest quality dance education to all ages and abilities. Starting with young children at the age of 3 years old, each level is systematically designed to meet the dancer where they are and encourage them to grow physically and emotionally as artists.
A Hidden Power
Inspired by the transformative power dance had on his own life, Founder and Artist Director Stephen Bimson saw the deeper potential of the art form and now wishes to provide a space where others are given the same opportunity.
Our community outreach programs provide children in residential care with the chance to participate in a wide variety of dynamic dance and theatre training. Our focus is on developing creative and critical thinking skills, perseverance and personal resilience - tools which will be indispensable as they prepare to reintegrate into Cambodian society.
Building The Future
Vocational education and training play a prominent roll in a country's social and economical advancement. We provide opportunities for students to gain internationally recognized qualifications through the Royal Academy of Dance as well as a verity of in-house training programs including teaching apprenticeship and artistic mentoring.
